Invece l’azienda tedesca ci sorprende riproponendo una collezione di orologi analogici  e digitale. Gli orologi sono la copia con delle modifiche dei modelli originali anni settanta.

Molto bello il design essenziale e pulito di alcuni modelli analogici. Nella collezione anche alcune sveglie.

Braun’s decision to re-issue its collection, including some of the LCD watches from the 1970s, met with the approval of Dietrich Lubs, co-designer with Dieter Rams. Lubs credits the watches’ independent and functionally-oriented designs for the continued relevance of the Braun timepiece collection, about thirty years after its initial introduction.

Un’immagine coordinata molto bella per Fast Eddie’s Barber Shop disegnata da Richard Arthur Stewart. Mi piace molto il sapore “Old America” ottenuto con un combinazione di Franklin Gothic and ATF Bodoni e la presentazione su tavolo del coordinato.

Fast Eddie’s is a no nonsense barber shop found in Allston, MA. one of Boston’s many historical neighborhoods. This place is the epitome of traditional Americana, which I wanted the mark and typography to represent; Franklin Gothic and ATF Bodoni scanned from a letterpress book with a mashup illustration combining an iconic eagle and barber’s comb.

I wanted to stay away from the “red, white & blue” barber pole theme and stick with something high contrast and modern. Stark, rich blacks screen printed on whitewash 100 lb. card stock  give the collateral a strong masculine feel while referencing the brand’s age and history.

Quasi quasi stampo questa frase e la affiggo sulla porta del mio ufficio… chi fa il mio lavoro sa benissimo di cosa si tratta!
